10 Days Lake Nakuru/Masai Mara lodge safari/Uganda Gorilla

Day 1: Arrival
Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to Boulevard hotel for overnight stay

Day 2;Nairobi - Nakuru
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the Great Rift Valley viewing sceneries en route arriving to the Pink Lake often referred so due to it’s Great masses of Flamingos. After lunch proceed for game drive in the Park with numerous Animals. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge
Lake Nakuru's claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here

Day 3: Nakuru - Maasai Mara
Depart the lodge soon after breakfast and drive via the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. Lunch at a campsite before proceeding for evening gamedrives.Dinner and overnight stay at a Mara Sentrim Lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 4/5Maasai Mara

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5.Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at a Mara Sentrim Lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures

Day 6: Maasai Mara- Nairobi - Kampala
After breakfast depart for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Transfer to the Airport for your flight to Kampala arriving late evening for overnight.

Day 7. Bwindi.

Morning breakfast then take a 5hour road transfer on a very good road to the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Home to the mountain Gorillas. In the evening take a Munyaga Trail to explore the freshness of the forest on a nature walk along the River Munyaga. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Lodge or Mantana Bwindi Camp.

Day 8. Gorilla Trek.
After breakfast report at the Park Offices for a briefing by the ranger guides prior to the trek to find the Mountain Gorillas with picnic lunch. The Gorillas are tracked, located and after approximately one hour with them, return to base for a shower and cold drink. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Lodge or Mantana Bwindi Camp.

Day 9. Lake Bunyonyi-Mbarara.

Travel to Kabale for lunch at the Lake Bunyonyi where you could also take a canoe ride to explore the many Islands. Later depart for Mbarara arriving for dinner and night stay at the Agip Motel.

Day 10 Entebbe Airport.
After morning breakfast transfer to Entebbe Airport for your after noon flight to Nairobi arriving in good connecting time with your home bound flight.
