3 DAYS GORILLA TRACKING ITINERARY AT BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Day One:
An early start from Kampala after your Breakfast takes you southwest Uganda by road with your guide, cross the Equator, and then to Mbarara for Lunch and through Savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic drive through Kigezi Highlands known as the Switzerland of Uganda, banana plantations and heads of Ankole cattle take you to the gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi.
Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma community Bandas (Full Board)

Day Two
Have early morning breakfast and after a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the undergrowth and thick creepers of the dense rain forest to track for these endangered mammals. Sitting with the most peaceful, rarest and endangered of all the apes, is a fascinating experience. After 1 hour allowed with the giants, return to the lodge.
In case you have the afternoon free, have a guided village walk to nearby communities to see and experience the different aspects of Ugandan lives, cultures and lifestyles.

Day Three
After breakfast, Return to Kampala arriving late afternoon.
