3 DAYS GORILLA TRACKING ITINERARY AT BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Day One:
An early start from Kampala after your Breakfast takes you southwest Uganda by road with your guide, cross the Equator, and then to Mbarara for Lunch and through Savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic drive through Kigezi Highlands known as the Switzerland of Uganda, banana plantations and heads of Ankole cattle take you to the gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi.
Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma community Bandas (Full Board)

Day Two
Have early morning breakfast and after a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the undergrowth and thick creepers of the dense rain forest to track for these endangered mammals. Sitting with the most peaceful, rarest and endangered of all the apes, is a fascinating experience. After 1 hour allowed with the giants, return to the lodge.
In case you have the afternoon free, have a guided village walk to nearby communities to see and experience the different aspects of Ugandan lives, cultures and lifestyles.

Day Three
After breakfast, Return to Kampala arriving late afternoon.

3 days Queen Elizabeth National park safaris

Day 01: Uganda Safari to Queen Elizabeth
A morning pick up from Kampala to start the Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari. We drive through the city before a brief stop by the Uganda Equator to take pictures or shop for a souvenir. After lunch in Mbarara, the safari heads into the East African Rift valley before arriving in Queen Elizabeth National park.
After an evening game viewing safari around the Leoapard Loop and channel tracks, transfer to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at Jacana Safari Camp or Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 02: Queen Elizabeth National park
A morning wake up call for an an early morning cup of tea/coffee with pastries. Our morning safari of Queen ELizabeth National park starts around 6:30am. We depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around the crater Lakes in search of Leopard, Lion, Hyena, Uganda Kob and other wildlife. Later, return for breakfast and relax by the pool. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks.
Dinner and overnight either at Jacana Camp or Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 03: Queen Elizabeth National park - Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast, the Queen Elizabeth Safari ends with a transfer to Kampala arriving in the early afternoon.

5 Days Uganda Gorilla safari/Lake Mburo National park safari
 

Day 01:
Morning departure for the south with stops at the craft village at the Uganda Equator for pictures and shopping. After lunch at the Lakeview hotel in Mbarara, proceed through the beautiful evergreen mountain country referred to as the ?Little Switzerland?. .

Arrive late evening for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Uganda Safari Lodge.

Day 02: Gorilla tours
Briefing by Park ranger guides. Later with picnic lunch, start a 30 minutes - 8 hours strenuous trek to find the Mountain gorillas. Overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Lodge.

Day 03: Gorilla Tracking in Uganda
With picnic lunch, take a second chance tracking the gorillas, return to your accommodations for dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort Camp and Lodge.

Day 04: Uganda Tour to Lake Mburo
Transfer to Mbarara for lunch before heading into the Lake Mburo Park for an afternoon game viewing on the way to your night stay at Lake Mburo Mihingo Lodge.
